On July 12th, Brittany and Damon married at Balls Falls in Niagara.
I provided sound for their ceremony, dinner and dancing. Brittany and Damon were such an awesome couple to work with and their friends and family definitely know how to have a good time.
Damon works in events and Brittany is a lifestyle photographer, so the planning was down to a tee. The nine page colour coordinated google doc I received months before foreshadowed the amount of detail that went into their big day.
Here’s what Brittany and Damon had to say about my services:
“Leading up to the wedding our main goal was to ensure it was a day enjoyed by all of our guests. We wanted it to be a sophisticated party we would all remember and thanks to Patty V, we had just that. From the moment dinner ended and the father daughter dance was complete, everyone was up and dancing. I have never been to a wedding where there was a “last song” announced and everyone was still dancing and offering to buy Patty some extra time! Patty knew how to read the crowd and played exactly what everyone was looking for! Shoes were off and people were dancing and having the best time. Ultimately, Patty helped us reach our goals and made the evening the most memorable for our guests. We had so many people compliment Patty and still to this day, we have people asking who our DJ was because he left an impact on our perfect day! We cannot thank him enough for putting us at ease and allowing us to enjoy the night with our family and friends. Thank you Patty V for allowing us to live out our dream!”
One of the highlights was every guest singing ‘Lean on’ by Bill Withers in a giant circle. If you follow my Instagram stories, you know this is a common end to my wedding sets.
Another highlight was Cocktail hour, which was covered by Gavin Ray. A great local Niagara artist.
